Patient Advocate Scholarship Foundation for Survivors

Applicant must have been diagnosed with and/or been actively treated for a life-threatening disease within the past 5 years.  
Students who particpated in a KY Governor's school after their junior year in high school may be eligible for scholarships at certain KY colleges.  
Provides scholarships to youth who have experienced homelessness. $2,000 scholarship award. A minimum of 10 scholarships are awarded. 
Scholarships for students who have experienced homelessness.
Scholarship for students who have been in public or private foster care for the 12 consecutive months prior to their 18th birthday; OR have been adopted or placed into legal guardianship from foster care after their 16th birthday; OR they must have been orphaned for at least one year at the time of their 18th birthday.  Must have been accepted into or expect to be accepted into an accredited college or post-secondary school. 
Participating KY Career College: Medical Career and Technical College (Richmond). Participating TN Career Colleges are Lincoln College of Technology-Nashville (formerly NADC) and Nashville Film Institute
