March 30
 Paducah Public Schools to Continue Non-Traditional Instruction and Tornado Takeout Through Spring Break, April 6-10
March 26
Students who have paper packets of assignments will turn in their completed assignments and pick up a new packet Friday, March 27. See the news summary below for bus schedules and specific instructions. 
March 20
In keeping with Governor Beshear’s recommendation that all Kentucky Schools stop in-person instruction, Paducah Public Schools Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) Days will be extended through Friday, April 17, 2020. This closure is a proactive approach to limit exposure to COVID-19 within our community.
Here is the schedule for the coming weeks:
March 23 – March 27 NTI Days
March 30 – April 3 NTI Days
April 6 - April 10  NTI Days
April 13 – April 17 NTI Days

As a school district, we are prepared to provide continuity of services for both learning and nutrition. Teachers will be providing instructional services using Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI). Our food service staff will continue preparing meals for delivery according to the schedule that is already in place.

March 17
Paper packets will be delivered to students Wednesday, March 18 at the building where they attend schools. Online students will not receive paper packets. For a complete list of instructions and bus stops, see the link in the news summary below. 
March 14, 2020
Paducah Public Schools will offer takeout meal delivery beginning Monday, March 16.

Beginning Tuesday, March 17, until further notice – buses will be at all stops from 10:30 - 11:00 AM.

All sites will serve breakfast and lunch. See the news summary below for a link to a list of Tornado Takeout stops.

Boys and Girls Track Finish Second at Big Kahuna

Congratulations to the boys’ and girls’ track teams for their second place finishes in the Big Kahuna track meet in Dyersburg, Tennessee this past weekend. Individual awards for the girls are as follows: Valesha Watson - 1st place 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 4 by 100 meter relay, 4 by 200 meter relay, and 4 by 400 meter relay. Tanaisha Jordan - 3rd place 100 meter dash and 1st place 4 by 100 meter relay, 4 by 200 meter relay, and 4 by 400 meter relay. LeChina Starks - 1st place long jump. Lauren Gary - 3rd place high jump and first place 4 by 100 meter relay, 4 by 200 meter relay and 4 by 400 meter relay. Harriers Compete at Fort Campbell

Grant places second in varsity race.

Four Paducah Middle students ran in Saturday's Cross Country Meet at Ft. Campbell, with all competing at the Varsity (High School) level. 7th grader Aleja Grant won second place in the Varsity Girl's division. 6th graders Heath Ford and Carter Noneman and 7th grader Eli Noneman each finished with their personal best times for the 3.1 mile run in the Varsity Boy's Division.

Congratulations to the girls and boys track teams on their victories at the Heath Invitational. The girls had 158 1/2 pts.

Hard Work Pays Dividends as PMS Men’s Track Team Sets Record, Claims State Runner-Up

The motto for the Paducah Middle School track team is “work hard, win easy”. The motto held true as a team that Coach David Jones said “worked hard every day” produced six individual state champions, set a new state record in the 400 meter relay, and earned a runner-up finish in the 2008 Kentucky Middle School Track and Field Meet.
