PMS Baseball Splits Doubleheader With Graves
Paducah Middle School baseball team split the doubleheader with Graves County last night, outslugging their opponent to win 15-10 in the first game, and losing the second game by a score of 5-4 in the last inning. In the first game, PMS pounded out 15 hits, led by Reese Butler and Isaac Humphrey with 3 hits each; followed by Andrew Shannon and Clayton Wilson with two hits apiece. Alex (Darrell) Reeves took the mound and got the win. Congratulations also go out to Harrison Kelley who got his first career hit at PMS.
In the second game, PMS received great pitching from Isaac Humphrey and Reese Butler, and timely hitting to jump out to a 4-1 lead, but could not hang on, as Graves County scored a run in the bottom of the last inning to take the second game 5-4. Reese Butler led the team with two hits, followed by Andrew Shannon and Isaac Humphrey with one hit apiece.
