Lambert and Massey Named September Rotary Scholars of the Month

Paducah Tilghman seniors Samuel Lambert and Emma Massey have been named PTHS Rotary Scholars of the month for September 2019. The Paducah Rotary Club selects scholars from area seniors who demonstrate strong leadership, academic excellence, and service to community.
 
Emma is a member of the PTHS varsity softball and soccer teams. She is a member of the PTHS Chamber Orchestra, Interact Club, Beta Club, National Honor Society, and Pep Club. Emma is part of a small group of upperclassmen who have coordinated and led the Empty Bowls Project with Clark Elementary Beta Club for the past four years. This past summer she attended the Apex Leadership Conference at the University of Mississippi. Emma is a volunteer at Broadway United Methodist Church. After graduation, Emma plans to attend a four year university and major in nursing. Her parents are Lisa and Ryan Massey.
 
Samuel is a member of the PTHS varsity golf and soccer teams. He is a member of Academic Team, National Honor Society, Beta Club, and Pep Club. Samuel is an alumnus of Paducah Chamber's Youth LEAD. He serves on the Paducah Human Rights Commission. This past summer he particpated in the Governor's Scholars Program. Samuel plans to attend a four year university after graduation. His parents are James and Sarah Lambert.
