Corbin Snardon has been selected Interim Assistant Principal at Paducah Middle School by the Paducah Middle SBDM council.
Snardon began teaching at Paducah Middle in 2011 after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Social Studies from Western Kentucky University. While at Paducah Middle he taught sixth grade geography and eighth grade history. He served on the School Based Decision Making Council for five years and also served as School Lighthouse Leadership Team Facilitator for two years. He was a finalist for the Ashland Inc. Kentucky Teacher of the Year in 2015.
In 2017 Snardon transitioned to Title One Counselor for Paducah Public Schools. In this role he was responsible for oversight of the federal Title One funding for the district, which included budgeting, assisting schools with Title One programs, and assistance with students who qualified for Title One services.
In addition to his undergraduate degree, Snardon has earned a MAE in School Counseling and a MAE in Education Administration from Murray State University. He currently serves as second vice-president and education chair for the Paducah McCracken County NAACP. He was named NAACP member of the year in 2018.
“I am excited to have Mr. Snardon as a new Assistant Principal at Paducah Middle,” said Paducah Middle principal Allene Houston Jones. “He comes to us with a wealth of knowledge. He is dedicated to not only the students at Paducah Middle, but to all students in the district. We are happy to have him back in the Paducah Middle family.”
