Paducah Public Schools Faculty and Staff Honored at WKCTC Regional Educators Awards

Ten Paducah Public Schools faculty, staff, and administrators were honored for their service at the 3rd Annual WKCTC Regional Educators Awards and Scholarship Program held at the Clemens Fine Arts Theatre on March 5.

In the Pre-kindergarten – 5th grade Distinguished Faculty category, McNabb Elementary first grade science teacher Jennifer Beyer, Morgan Elementary second grade teacher Mallory Dunnaway, Morgan Elementary special education teacher Destiny Ringstaff, and Clark Elementary first grade teacher Jennifer Thompson were nominees. 

In the 6th - 12th grade Distinguished Faculty Category, Paducah Middle 7th grade science teacher Timothy Franklin and PTHS chemistry teacher Shelley McGregor were nominees. Franklin won the Regional Educator Award in the 6th – 12th grade Distinguished Faculty category. 
In the Distinguished Educator category, Paducah Middle principal Allene Houston-Jones and Paducah Head Start Preschool director Kristy Lewis were nominees.
Kids Company I Family Resource Center coordinator Robyn West won the Cornelia Reece Unsung Hero Staff Award.

Paducah Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Donald Shively was honored for his work in education with the WKCTC President's Award.
