Seven PT Students Score 30+ on the ACT

Rachel Benzing, James Bilak, Parker Loyd, Eli Noneman, Tori Taylor, Molly Thompson, and Kelsea White scored 30 or higher on the test. .

Rachel Benzing and Erin Burba scored a perfect 36 on the Reading section.

When asked what advice she would give to students taking the ACT, Erin said, “Take it seriously, but don’t lose your mind over it. Work on data interpretation for the science portion, focus on grammar for English, and don’t stress over teaching yourself calculus for the math.” Rachel’s advice to fellow students is, “Practice in the weeks leading up to the test. Practice good time management.”

The ACT is a standardized test used across the nation as a tool to gauge a student’s progress in high school and to predict a student’s performance in college, making it a key part of the college admissions process. The test itself is comprised of four timed sections: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science Reasoning, each scored on a scale ranging from 1 to 36.
