Cardon Named Interim Head Coach of Paducah Tilghman High School’s Speech and Debate Team
Cardon joined the staff at Paducah Tilghman this summer, and currently teaches English and speech. He comes to Tilghman from Graves County High School. While there, he taught English and served as the assistant coach of the Graves County Speech and Forensics Team. He previously taught English at his alma mater, Breckinridge County High School. Throughout his tenure there, he worked with the Academic Team as the assistant coach and was instrumental in creating BCHS’s Drama Club. As the organization’s advisor, he helped the program become accredited with the Kentucky Theatre Association.

“I am honored to have been selected to work with such esteemed and talented students,” said Cardon. “The reputation of this program is one that I have admired since beginning my journey with the Kentucky High School Speech League last fall, and the opportunity to play a role in its continuation is extremely exciting.”

Cardon holds a bachelor’s degree in English Education from Murray State. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in literature.
