CATCH Training Prepares Partners for Elementary School Implementation
The CATCH training took place last week on Wednesday, March 2. Train the trainer sessions took place on Thursday, March 3 and Friday, March 4 so that individuals can train future partners to implement the CATCH program. Those in attendance included Paducah Public Schools food service staff, teachers and administrators as well as Paducah Parks Department Staff and McCracken County Extension Office staff. The goal is to have CATCH programming during the school year and during the summer through the Paducah Parks Department. The McCracken County Extension Office would also like to use CATCH for their supplemental programs.

CATCH will be implemented in Paducah Public Schools at the elementary school level in the fall of 2016 and at Paducah Parks Department in the spring of 2017. It is anticipated the health of students and their families will improve due to this year-round health and wellness education.
