NEW POLICY ON SIGNING OUT
Students must remain at school at all times or check out through the Dean’s office. Because of liability issues, guardians must physically come in school to sign their child out of school for the specified time. If for any reason the guardian is unable to come to school to sign the student out, the guardian should call the school to approve the student’s dismissal and then send someone from their student’s emergency contact list to sign the student out. Students leaving campus during the school day without permission will be subject to suspension.

Seven players from Paducah Tilghman's 2009 3A State Championship football team were named to the 2009 All West Kentucky Conference team: (left to right) DeJuan Edmonds, Josh Forrest, Justin Williams, Jared Sigler, DeShaun Jackson, DeRay Edmonds and Kris Jackson. Coach Randy Wyatt is on the far right. The West Kentucky Conference is made up of 22 football teams from western Kentucky. The players were selected by the conference head coaches.

Congratulations to Sharon Leone and Lydia Wiggins for an outstanding job at the Tilghman Invitational, which was held December 12 at Paducah Athletic Club.
Lydia Wiggins dropped time in her 50 Freestyle and placed 17th. Lydia also competed in the 100 Breast with a 12th place finish.
Sharon Leone placed 2nd in the 100 Butterfly and 1st in the 100 Backstroke.

We've lowered the price of the State Championship shirts in Twisters. Short-sleeved T's are $6, long-sleeved T's are $9, sweatshirts with no hood are $11 and hoodies are $14. |
