Board meetings are open to the public. Regular meetings begin at 5 p.m. on the third Monday of the month either at the Innovation Hub, 500 South 25th Street or at one of our schools. Click the link to Board meetings for more information.
In order to keep the Board and the public safe in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the meetings will either be closed to the public or have limited seating available in order to socially distance.

The Board of Education welcomes public participation. Board procedure provides ample time at each Board meeting for public participation. Board procedure requires the following: The Board will schedule a maximum of 45 minutes of public participation, except in unusual circumstances. Individual participants will be limited to a maximum of 5 minutes each during the 45-minute public participation period. Any exception or exemption to this Board procedure will be granted entirely at the discretion of the Board.
The Board will listen carefully to comments and suggestions presented during public participation. The Board will generally not respond to public questions and comments during the Board meeting; however, the Board, or the superintendent at the direction of the Board, will respond later in those instances where a response is appropriate.
The Board of Education will not hear complaints against pupils or personnel unless such complaints have been heard by the superintendent through proper channels. After remedies have been exhausted at lower levels, such complaints shall only be heard in executive session and in accordance with Kentucky statutes.
