Curriculum
The Department of Instruction staff supports curriculum, instruction and assessment practices to assist with every child's success. Teaching strategies are emphasized with professional development and research about best teaching practices. The department works with test score analysis at schools and district wide. Materials - textbooks, software, etc. - are researched, proposed and monitored to help staff teach students. Federal and state grant use is targeted for supporting initiatives and activities to further student achievement.
