A NOTE ABOUT SCHOLARSHIPS AND TRANSCRIPTS DURING ONLINE LEARNING DAYS
OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT VS. UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
- Official Transcript: An official transcript is signed by Ms. Sievers with the school sealed embossed over her signature. She can give you an official transcript in a SEALED envelope which students can attach to applications. Students should NOT open the sealed envelope.
- Unofficial Transcript: An Unofficial transcript is the one students can print from their Infinite Campus account. In other words, their student hands have touched the transcript.
If you need an OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT for an application, email Ms. Sievers with your name, the scholarship name, and scholarship contact person's email address. Please ask for the transcript at least three days in advance of the deadline for the scholarship. She will send your OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT through email to the contact person for the scholarship.
If you need an UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT, you are able to print those or download them from your Infinite Campus Student Portal. If you don't have the ability to print an unofficial transcript at home, please email Ms. Sievers at least three days in advance of the deadline for the scholarship with your name, the scholarship name, and scholarship contact person's email address. She will email the transcript to the scholarship contact.
TRANSCRIPTS FOR COLLEGES: Seniors should log into their Parchment account and request the transcript. Ms. Neihoff or Ms. Sievers will release the transcript to the college. If students have never logged into their Parchment account, they can go to www.parchment.com to create an account.
COUNSELOR SECTION OF A SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION:
If you need Ms. Sievers to complete the counselor section of an application, email her with your name, the name of the scholarship, and the deadline at least three days before the deadline. You can scan or take a picture of the page you need completed and attach to an email. She will then complete the form and email back to you. You will need to be able to print the scanned page to put with your application. If you aren't able to send the form to Ms. Sievers, give her the name of the scholarship, the due date, and the contact information for the scholarship. She will complete the form and email to the scholarship contact.
