Tornado Baseball Competes In Weekend Tourney

Tornado Baseball suffered three tuff losses this weekend against Marshall County, Lone Oak A-team, and Century, Illinois.

Drew Lastinger pitched a great game against Century having a pick off and a home run, Nathan Hawkins slammed his first double of the year, and Justin Blankenship came up with a key single to keep the game close. Miles Butler threw some key pitches in the Lone Oak game to keep us in the game. Over all the team worked hard and know what they need to do before the season tournament on the September 19.

Coach Cornaby would like to thank all the teachers and fans that came out to support the Tornado this weekend. The next game is against Masaac this Thursday, 4:30 p.m. at Brooks. Go Tornado!
