Paducah Middle Baseball Splits Doubleheader

The PMS baseball team split their doubleheader on Saturday at Reidland, losing game one to Lone Oak, 8-4, and defeating Reidland in second game, 2-0.
The Tornado could not bounce back from the 7 run first inning allowed to the Flash. PMS was led in hitting by Clayton Wilson, who went 1 for 2 with a double, run scored, and an RBI. Reese Butler also went 1 for 2 with a double and a run scored. In game two, PMS received a great pitching performance from Isaac Humphrey, who only allowed three hits, shutting out the Greyhounds. Brenden Yates and Isaac Humphrey led the team in hits, each going 2 for 2 with an RBI each, and Clayton Wilson went 1 for 2 with a run scored. PMS (10-10) completes their regular season tomorrow night with a doubleheader versus Lone Oak, and then the Regional Tournament will complete the season this Saturday.
