McNabb Elementary students hosted local dignitaries Wednesday at the school’s first ever Leader In Me Leadership Day.
Teachers and staff from other district schools, along with other public officials and community leaders, were invited to take part in a reception and tour of the school.
After an introductory orientation for the groups, members of the Student Lighthouse Team led several groups of attendees on a tour of the school. Tour guides showed the groups inspirational bulletin boards and door decorations that highlighted student achievements and showed them classrooms.
