Howard Dillard Jr. has been selected as Paducah Tilghman Girls’ Basketball Head Coach.
Coach Dillard brings 25 years of dedicated high school and college coaching experience to the Paducah Tilghman High School girls basketball program. Prior to joining Paducah Tilghman, Coach Dillard served as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Dyersburg State Community College for three years where they were Runner-Up in the Tennessee Community College Association in 2022. Coach Dillard has also spent time as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Mid-Continent University, Women’s Basketball Coach at Shawnee Community College , and Assistant Coach at Graves County High School, Murray High School, Hickman County High School, Paducah Tilghman High School, and Fulton City High School. Coach Dillard holds a bachelor’s degree from Murray State University and is currently working on his master’s degree in Post Secondary Education Administration.
“Coach Dillard brings a strong background in coaching and leadership, with many years of experience at both the high school and collegiate level,” said Paducah Tilghman Principal Deatrik Kinney. “With his focus on player development, teamwork, and competitive excellence, Coach Dillard is a welcome addition to our program. We’re excited to begin this new chapter and look forward to the upcoming season under Coach Dillard's leadership.”
