Jennea Harris has been named Head Coach for the Paducah Tilghman High School Cheer team.
Harris, a Child & Family Advocate at Paducah Middle School, has over 15 years of cheerleading and coaching experience, with a strong foundation in sideline cheer, competition, skill development, leadership building, and choreography. Her most recent experience includes serving as cheer coach for Paducah Middle School. In addition to her work with cheerleading, Harris is founder and coordinator of the Paducah Storm Watch Step Teams.
"Coach Harris is a 100% all-in, committed leader with a passion for empowering student-athletes to grow both in and out of the sport," said PTHS Athletics Director David Dobbins. "She strives for excellence by building programs from the ground up—emphasizing strong fundamentals, team unity, and school spirit—while also pushing athletes to go beyond the basics and reach their full potential."
“I look forward to expanding our vision for the sport of cheer within Paducah Public Schools,” said Coach Harris. “Our students are filled with so much drive and talent, and I truly believe we have only scratched the surface. My goal is for this program to grow into the force it deserves to be. I recognize that it takes a village to provide our students with the best opportunities possible, and I am grateful for the chance to be part of that village. I cannot wait to collaborate, build relationships within our school community and beyond, and proudly show off that Tornado pride!”
