Paducah Tilghman seniors Joseph Reeves Jr. and Kate LeBuhn have been named Mr. and Miss Tilghman for the PTHS Class of 2022.
Mr. and Miss Tilghman are chosen by the faculty of Paducah Tilghman High School.
Joseph Reeves, Jr. has been a member of the PTHS football team four years and played varsity three years. He is a member of the PTHS track team. He is a member of the African American Leadership Club and Boys 2 Gentlemen (B2G). He serves as a mentor and tutor at the Oscar Cross Boys and Girls Club. Joseph has his own DJ business, DJ Kuruk, and has donated his services at PTHS, Oscar Cross Boys and Girls Club, and other community events. After graduation, Joseph plans to attend Murray State University and major in Computer Science. His parents are Joseph Reeves Sr. and Michelle McClure.
Kate LeBuhn is a member of the PTHS tennis and soccer teams. She is a member of the PTHS Band of Blue. She is a member of the Interact Club, National Honor Society, and Beta Club. Kate is a member of the youth group and choir at First Presbyterian Church. She plays the banjo in a family band with her father and brother. She has participated in competitive dance since age 4. After graduation, Kate plans to attend a four year university on a Pre-Med track with a major in anthropology and a minor in music. Her parents are Carl and Polly LeBuhn.
