Christal Crane has joined Paducah Public Schools as a District Instructional Coach. As a member of the Paducah Instructional Team Crane will provide instructional assistance and professional development to teachers and administrators, primarily at Paducah Tilghman High School.

This is Crane's ninth year in education. She previously taught language arts at McCracken County for seven years and Graves County for one year.

Crane received her B.A. from Murray State University in Elementary Education and Learning/Behavior Disorders K-12. She continued her education at MSU and earned an M.A.Ed. in Teacher Leadership with a Literacy Specialist Endorsement. Most recently she completed her Rank I in Education Administration with an Instructional Supervisor Endorsement.

Crane grew up attending Paducah Public Schools and graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School. She and her husband Dustin, live in Paducah and have two children, Charlie (6) and Carleigh (4).

It’s an honor to continue my educational career with Paducah Public Schools,” Crane said. I look forward to working with administrators, teachers, and the Paducah Instructional Team to ensure that all students have what they need to be successful.

“We are elated to have Christal as a part of our team,” said District Instructional Specialist Allene Houston Jones. “She has a wealth of instructional knowledge and experience that will benefit our teachers, our administrators, and ultimately our students.”
