Image of Women and Men in Leadership Group

Twenty-One Paducah Public Schools faculty & staff were inducted into the inaugural cohort of the Women & Men in Leadership Academy (Wo//MiL) at a ceremony held at the Paducah Innovation Hub on February 8.

Members of the group include Ashley Adkins, Amy Bakehouse, LaToya Benberry, Clayton Brewer, LeSheika Chamberlain, Kendrick Dunnaway, McKayla Everly, Jared Frazier, Danette Humphrey, Kristy Lewis, Leo McKinely, Pam McKinney, Wes Newsome, Azia Rouse, Todd Rushing, Tami Snyder, April Throgmorton, Sycilia Titsworth, Shay Tyler, Gary Willis, and Kelly Workman.

“The inaugural cohort of Wo//MiL Academy is a diverse group of Paducah Public Schools staff members from all backgrounds, representing all sites in the district,” said Wo//MiL Executive Director Amie Tooley. “Collectively, their presence translates into countless hours of hard work, dedication to their profession, and the willingness to stretch themselves personally.  Wo//MiL has answered the call made by Governor Beshear and the Coalition members to act now to sustain the education profession through innovative solutions.  By investing in public school staff, we are making a direct investment into students.”

The Wo//MiL Academy was created to empower and advance leaders in our community.  They will be provided with mentorship, along with an intentional focus on leadership skills, knowledge, and competencies to support them as they learn, lead, and grow.  District Human Resources Director Amie Tooley serves as Executive Director of the academy, and District College and Career Readiness Specialist Ginger Stewart serves as Program Director.
