Christal Crane has been named Assistant Principal at Clark Elementary School for the 2025-26 school year.
Crane served as the Academic Dean at Clark Elementary for one year (2024-2025). Prior to that, she was a District Instructional Coach for two years (2022-2024), primarily at Paducah Tilghman High School. Crane was a classroom teacher for eight years at Concord Elementary where she taught 3rd-5th grade English/Language Arts.
Crane received her B.S. in Elementary Education and Learning & Behavior Disorders from Murray State University. She earned a Teacher Leader M.A. in Education with a Literacy Specialist endorsement, and an Education Administration (P-12) M.A in Education with a Supervisor of Instruction endorsement. She is a 2003 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School.

"She has been instrumental in supporting our teachers and fostering a nurturing learning environment for all students. Her leadership, dedication, and connection to Clark—where she spent time as a student herself—make this promotion especially meaningful."
