Clark Elementary’s PTO received a grant and support from several community members to create two amazing playgrounds for our students. The 3rd-5th grade playground is complete; the K-2nd grade playground construction will start in late September and should be ready for children in October. The annual Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities is in full swing!
From June 1 through August 31 you can donate to our Foundation and know that every dollar directly impacts our students. You can designate your donation to any of our schools, programs, and scholarships in the district via our Foundation.
In its 24th year, the Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities has been instrumental in helping build nonprofit endowment funds. Because of Mr. Paxton's vision and his family's continued commitment, the Community Foundation will match donations raised by each organization up to $10,000. These matching funds support the classes and after school programs at the Paducah Innovation Hub Makerspace, which remain free to all district students.

Following tryouts, practice will be from 5:00PM-6:30PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday until school begins. Students must have an updated KHSAA physical to participate. Practices will be 6:30PM - 8:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Parents - it's very important for your players to show up so we can start putting teams together. It's not too late to register your child. We will have someone to help with registration during practices. The fee is now $85. No parents or children are permitted to go on the practice field. Tornado Takeout summer meals are available beginning Monday, June 2! Summer meals are available for all children from birth to 18 years old, no matter what school district you attend. Meals will be available Monday - Friday from June 2 to August 1 . Hot lunch meals will be available daily with a breakfast given for the next day. On Friday children will get a breakfast & lunch for Saturday and Sunday and breakfast for Monday. Tornado Takeout will be closed on June 19 and July 4.
