Clark Elementary’s PTO received a grant and support from several community members to create two amazing playgrounds for our students. The 3rd-5th grade playground is complete; the K-2nd grade playground construction will start in late September and should be ready for children in October. We would like to say thank you to our PTO and the following families and businesses for their support: Jim Smith Contracting, Newton Roll-Offs, Paducah Dermatology, Total Life Care, Jackson Property Maintenance, Meeks family, and Paducah Public Schools Foundation!

The Paducah Tilghman Cheer Team will host a Tornado Mini Cheer Clinic for PK-5th grade students on Saturday, September 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at Dinning gym on the campus of Paducah Tilghman High School. Cost is $25. Registration will be available at the door. Please see the attached flyer and registration form for additional information. Completed registration forms can be sent via email to Coach Anderson via email- dominique.anderson@paducah.kyschools.us or they can be dropped off at PTHS.

The annual Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities is in full swing!
From June 1 through August 31 you can donate to our Foundation and know that every dollar directly impacts our students. You can designate your donation to any of our schools, programs, and scholarships in the district via our Foundation.
In its 24th year, the Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities has been instrumental in helping build nonprofit endowment funds. Because of Mr. Paxton's vision and his family's continued commitment, the Community Foundation will match donations raised by each organization up to $10,000. These matching funds support the classes and after school programs at the Paducah Innovation Hub Makerspace, which remain free to all district students.

Huge thanks to Royal Oaks Chevrolet for stopping by today to present a donation to Clark Elementary School! Through their amazing Drive for Education program, Royal Oaks Chevrolet donates $50 for every vehicle sold to local schools each month. Paducah Middle was the lucky recipient for the month of August, receiving a generous $6050! These funds will make a real difference for our students. Baseball tryouts for Paducah Middle will be Monday, July 21 from 5:00PM-7:00PM with the location TBA. Following tryouts, practice will be from 5:00PM-6:30PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday until school begins. Students must have an updated KHSAA physical to participate.
