It was a wonderful night to celebrate the work of our faculty and staff at the 9th Annual Regional Educators Awards and Scholarship Program at West Kentucky Community and Technical College last night! With 31 "Top 20" nominees, four finalists, and two winners, Paducah Public Schools were well represented on the stage. It was also gratifying to see Doris Benberry, who taught for 37 years for Paducah Schools, receive a President's Award!

School continues tomorrow, Friday, January 30, using non-traditional instruction (NTI). A NTI day does not change the school calendar. The last day for students is still Thursday, May 21, as scheduled.

The only activity that remains as scheduled for Friday is the Paducah Tilghman High School Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball games at McCracken County High School. MCHS says parking lots and sidewalks will be cleared. Fans and student families should use their best judgement when deciding to attend the game.
