Three members of the Paducah Tilghman Class of 2025 signed baseball commitments at a signing ceremony held at PTHS on July 24.

Braden Douglas, a fielder, signed a commitment to play baseball at Midway University in Midway, Kentucky. In addition to playing baseball for Paducah Tilghman, Douglas played for numerous travel teams, including Music City Saints and Nashville Knights baseball.

“Braden was one of my guys that I used to call “Sir Play-A-Lot”, said PTHS Baseball assistant coach Eric Fennell. “He’s always joking, having fun, and getting that team camaraderie going. We’ll miss him and wish him good luck on his next adventure.”

Elijah Hamilton, a pitcher and first baseman, signed a commitment to play baseball at Jackson State Community College in Jackson, Tennessee. In addition to playing baseball for Paducah Tilghman, Douglas played for the Lake Area Rattlers travel team.

“Elijah is very athletic and can play anywhere on the field,” said PTHS Baseball assistant coach Eric Fennell. “Keep doing what you do and good luck on your next adventure.”

Dain Lynn, a pitcher, signed a commitment to play baseball at Jackson State Community College in Jackson, Tennessee. In addition to playing baseball for Paducah Tilghman, Douglas played for the Paducah Chiefs and played Legion Ball for Post 68 in Lyon County.

“Dain is a hard worker who turned into one of our big game guys,” said PTHS Baseball Assistant Coach Morgan Capen. “Dain showed a lot of leadership and it was a pleasure to have him as a player.”
