Paducah Tilghman seniors Qariah Davenport and Ben Myers are Paducah Rotary Club Students of the Month for December. The Rotary Club of Paducah invites seniors from area high schools to the club's weekly meetings. Students are selected monthly and attend Rotary Club luncheons during that month.
Qariah is a member of the National Honors Society and 4-H Club. She received the Berea College Woodson Scholar Award, which recognizes high-achieving African-American juniors. Qariah enjoys babysitting for family and bicycle riding. After graduation, she plans to attend Murray State University. Qariah's mother is Rachel Kelley.
Ben is a member of the PTHS football team, PTHS tennis team, Beta Club, National Honors Society, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Ben enjoys hunting, tennis, weightlifting, and reading. After graduation, he plans to attend either the University of Kentucky or Southern Illinois University, where he hopes to play football and pursue a pre-med major. Ben's parents are Dr. Johnny and Amy Myers.
