Paducah Tilghman seniors Ava Russell and Quinton Turner are Paducah Rotary Club Students for the month of March. The Rotary Club of Paducah invites seniors from area high schools to the club's weekly meetings.  Students are selected monthly and attend Rotary Club luncheons during that month.

Quinton is a Paxton Scholar and Berea Scholar. His is a member of the PTHS track and cross country teams. He was the outstanding French student for the 2023-24.

After graduation Quinton plans to attend either WKCTC or Murray State University to pursue a career as a trauma nurse or travel nurse.

His parents are Stacey and Rod Carter.

Ava is President of Tilghman’s Interact Club and Technology Students Association (TSA), Treasurer of Student Council and FBLA, Concert Master of Tilghman’s Orchestra, a member of Beta Club, Pep Club, and National Honor Society, and is a PTHS Student Ambassador. She’s also President of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society (WKCTC). She is the Founder/CEO of the nonprofit “Giving Grace,” a skincare brand funding service trips to El Salvador.

After graduation Ava plans to attend the University of Louisville, where she has received the McConnell, Henry Vogt, and Porter scholarships. Ava plans to pursue a career as a Human Rights lawyer.

Her parents are Kimberly and Christopher Russell.
