Paducah Tilghman seniors Mariah Shumpert and Keaton Thompson are Paducah Rotary Club Students for the month of April. The Rotary Club of Paducah invites seniors from area high schools to the club's weekly meetings. Students are selected monthly and attend Rotary Club luncheons during that month.
Mariah is a Paxton Scholar. She is member of the PTHS Cheer Team and has been named to the KHSAA academic all state first team from 2023-2026. She is a member of Beta Club, National Honor Society, and FBLA. After graduation, Mariah plans to attend Murray State University and major in Business Marketing. Her parents are Michele Wood and Quinn Shumpert.
Keaton is captain of the PTHS Varsity Bowling Team. He is a member of the PTHS Marching, Concert, and Pep Bands and is Trumpet Section Leader, Brass Captain, and Drum Major for the marching band. He is a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation, Keaton plans to attend the University of Louisville and major in Mechanical Engineering. His parents are Lauren and Josh Thompson.
