Join us for "Path to Eligibility", a free informational session for students and parents grades 9-12 on Wednesday, September 23, 5:00 - 6:00 PM at the PTHS Auditorium. The meeting will be hosted by senior counselor Casaundra Newsome and PT Athletics Director David Dobbins.
We couldn’t be prouder of our boys after an outstanding performance at the KHSAA Region 1 Boys Golf Tournament! The Tornado finished tied for 3rd out of 16 teams, firing a team score of 329 and finishing just two shots out of second place!
And we’re not finished yet… two Tornado golfers are headed to Sub-State!🔥
🏅 Sophomore Liam Stewart had a huge day, finishing 4th overall and earning the #1 individual qualifying spot for Sub-State!
🏅 Senior Captain Gray Edwards delivered when it mattered, finishing 13th overall and securing the 7th individual qualifying spot for Sub-State!
Junior Axl Young battled all day and finished 20th overall, coming just two shots away from qualifying for Sub-State.
7th grader Benji Johnson stepped onto the regional stage for the first time and showed he belonged, finishing 40th out of 83 golfers in his Regional debut!
Senior Anderson Ballert finished 54th overall and helped the Tornado put together an outstanding team performance in his final Region 1 Tournament.
Congratulations to Liam and Gray — your season continues! We’re incredibly proud of all five of these guys and the way they competed for the BLUE! 💙🌪️

There will be a PTHS Boys Basketball meeting Thursday, September 10 at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria blue room for parents of students interested in playing basketball for the 2026-27 season. A booster meeting will follow.

The Boys 2A Sectional Final between Paducah Tilghman and Calloway County came down to the wire Thursday night at Jetton Field. After a knotted score 2-2 at the end of regulation, the Blue Tornado held strong for the 3-2 victory in penalty kicks to advance to the Kentucky 2A state tournament next week. Tilghman will take on Christian Academy- Louisville on Saturday, September 12 at Nelson County High School. - Will Muiter, The Paducah Sun

Always an ambassador for our school, Coach Thompson reminded Rotarians, "When you walk the halls of Tilghman, you see the world." Just like coach, we're proud to partner with students and families from many places and spaces.
We're all about academics, but Coach Thompson also shared how he is guiding students to lead and find their unique voice as they journey to adulthood.
