We're please to welcome Crystal Ware as our new Paducah Innovation Hub receptionist and Central Office secretary!
Born in Jackson, Tennessee, Crystal spent most of her adult years in Union City, Tennessee before moving to Paducah. Crystal is married to her husband Cheo Ware. They have four children and four grandchildren.
Crystal has diverse work experience spanning 12 years in administrative and entry-level accounting roles.
Crystal enjoys showing love though cooking for family and friends as she experiments with new recipes. She also loves attending sporting events with her family.
"I'm excited about building a community in Paducah," Crystal said. "I look forward to getting involved, volunteering my time, and making meaningful connections with fellow residents. We are eager to explore all that Paducah has to offer!"

Congratulations to Tilghman seniors Kiana Powers, Nevaeh Troupe, Kayla Duong, and Heaven Troupe, who recently received a scholarship from Computer Services, Inc. and the Paducah-McCracken County NAACP. The scholarship gives preference to first generation college students is designed to help them with college expenses.


Members of the PTHS Band of Blue performed in Honor Concert Bands at Louisville and Bowling Green last weekend. Azlyn Goodyke, H.G. Page, and Tessa Martin performed at WKU in Bowling Green. Marc Garrett and Ivy Wenzel performed in Louisville. Both groups gathered with 350 other musicians from across the Commonwealth to rehearse before performing their concerts. We received our first shipment of furniture for our new Head Start building today! We're getting close to moving in and we're very excited to share this building with you all!





Congratulations to PPS Finance Director Angela Copeland and PPS Chief Equity Officer Shonda Hollowell, who were inducted into the Kentucky Association of School Administrators (KASA) 2024 cohort of Kentucky Women in Educational Leadership (KWEL).
KWEL Cohort #7 is comprised of 27 school leaders across the Commonwealth who were selected through a competitive application process based on specific leadership criteria.
Kentucky Women in Educational Leadership is a KASA leadership program designed to strengthen and advance the careers of women working in P-12 public education.

We wanted to share just a sample of the wonderful letters from Mrs. Lambert’s 5th grade class written to our Board of Education members in appreciation of their service. Mrs. Lambert’s students scored 17th the state in Combined Writing, and her students enjoy taking advantage of opportunities to practice their skills in real-life.






Second and third graders from McNabb Elementary were at the Carson Center today to see "Cat Kid Comic Club", a live musical based on the graphic novel series by author Dav Pilkey.
It was especially awesome to see many of our McNabb Reading Pals in attendance with their students. Thank you, Carson Center! Thank you, Reading Pals!


The Paducah Board of Education will hold a brief special meeting at 1 pm Thursday, January 25, 2024 to be held at the Paducah Innovation Hub, 500 South 25th Street, Paducah.
Purpose: to approve three action items that could not be held until to the February regular meeting.

PTHS seniors Elena Adkins and Corban Williams have been named Candidates in the 2024 US Presidential Scholars Program. Of the nearly 3.6 million high school seniors graduating this year, approximately 5000 students from across the country have been selected to participate in the prestigious recognition program including approximately 80 Kentucky high school seniors. Congratulations, Elena and Corban!


Four members of the PTHS Academic team qualified for regional competition. Congratulations to Ben Coltharp (Math), Jacob Julian (Science), Caroline Adkins (Social Studies) and Elena Adkins (Language Arts)!


The Paducah Board of Education will hold a brief special meeting at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024 at the Seminar Room in the Paducah Innovation Hub. The agenda for the the meeting will be posted on Wednesday, January 24.

The PTHS boys basketball vs. Graves County game that was postponed will be played Monday, February 5, 6:00 p.m. at Otis Dinning Gymnasium.

Paducah Tilghman basketball plays McCracken County tonight and we've got lots of special events in store! > Pregame, CFSB will be in attendance handing out $2 drink coupons to a limited number of fans who arrive at the game first. > At halftime of the Girls game, the Storm Watch Step Team will perform. > At halftime of the Boys game, there will be a special presentation as we announce the naming of the PTHS track after long-time coach Lyman Brown.
