Today we celebrate our Nutrition Services staff, who strive each day to provide our students and staff with healthy, tasty, meals and snacks. Thank you for all the ways you take care of us!

In each of our schools, our office staff keep our schools running as they answer phones, take attendance, keep books, and a million other tasks each day. Thank you all for your dedication, your expertise, and for being the ones who can answer all our questions!

We are honored to have the Paducah Innovation Hub featured in a publication by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Institute for Economic Equity.
This year's analysis, "2024 State of Economic Equity", includes a section on the Paducah Innovation Hub and how it provides an innovative approach for young people to explore career paths. You can see the publication at:

Hey, Tornado Family!
Here is a reminder about the plan of action that we follow when we have winter weather.

Paducah Public School families,
Putting staff and student safety first, the district will be using non-traditional instruction (NTI) tomorrow, January 18th. Some side road conditions along bus routes are still unsafe. In addition, the National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory forecasting freezing rain for tomorrow at 10 am that could make midday and afternoon travel hazardous for buses, students and staff.
Your student’s school has shared expectations for NTI days. School leaders will send reminders, as well.
The last two snow days and tomorrow’s NTI day do not impact the board-approved school calendar this year. The last day for students is still Wednesday, May 22nd, as scheduled.

PPS Parents: Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17th, all Paducah City Schools will be closed due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions. This will be a regular Snow Day, not an NTI (Non-Traditional Instruction) Day.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16th, all Paducah City Schools will be closed due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions. This will be a regular Snow Day, not an NTI (Non-Traditional Instruction) Day.

For 160 years the city of Paducah has valued quality education for our children as a fundamental foundation for success in life. We are grateful to Felix Akojie, Carl LeBuhn, Mary Hunter Hancock, Janice Howard, and James Hudson for their contributions to our community through their service on the Paducah Board of Education. Thank you!

Enrollment in Summer P-EBT is automatic for public and private school students. Federal law prohibits homeschool students, virtual students and children not enrolled in school from receiving Summer P-EBT. For more information about Summer P-EBT, call 1-833-501-5297.
