School continues tomorrow, Friday, January 30, using non-traditional instruction (NTI). A NTI day does not change the school calendar. The last day for students is still Thursday, May 21, as scheduled.

The only activity that remains as scheduled for Friday is the Paducah Tilghman High School Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball games at McCracken County High School. MCHS says parking lots and sidewalks will be cleared. Fans and student families should use their best judgement when deciding to attend the game.

Students from the Paducah Innovation Hub Carpentry program had the opportunity to visit Mrs. Wheatley’s Kindergarten classroom at McNabb Elementary. The carpentry students built a platform for Mrs. Wheatley's classroom to go in front of her whiteboard so students can reach the board. The high school carpenters spoke about tools, safety, and the process of building the platform.    Pictured: Destiny Patterson, Landon Elifritz and Ben Bliss.

Huge thanks to Royal Oaks Chevrolet for their donation to the Paducah Innovation Hub! Through their amazing Drive for Education program, Royal Oaks Chevrolet donates $50 for every vehicle sold to local schools each month, and donated a total of $4700 for the month of October. These funds will be used by Mr. Gwinn's Manufacturing Engineering class as they build a solar-powered vehicle. We are so grateful for your partnership, Royal Oaks Chevrolet! Paducah Middle art teacher Dr. Anthony Woodruff says that the Paducah Middle Car Club is off to a great start!

PM students practiced proper lifting spots and safety when jacking up a vehicle, then changed and rotated tires using traditional hand tools and an impact wrench.
