We were excited to host a talented group of rising 9th graders at the Paducah Innovation Hub for the first-ever CTE (Career & Technical Education) Summer Academy. Attending students had an opportunity to discover Paducah Area Technical Center pathways in Carpentry, Welding, and Health Occupations. The PTHS classes of '74 & '75 took a tour of the Paducah Innovation Hub this past Saturday as a part of their reunion activities. We love having the opportunity to share about the Hub and the innovative programs that happen there! Paducah Innovation Hub principal Steve Ybarzabal presented the creative strategies being used at the Paducah Innovation Hub at "Pathways to Progress: Workforce Strategies for Kentucky's Emerging Adults". The seminar was hosted by the Louisville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Thanks for representing the Paducah Innovation Hub, Mr. Ybarzabal!

Paducah Innovation Hub Principal Steve Ybarzabal will be presenting at "Pathways to Progress: Workforce Strategies for Kentucky's Emerging Adults" on Monday, June 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 ET in Louisville. The PATC Health Science Program held a pinning ceremony for students who received certifications that will allow them to work in healthcare on Monday, May 6 at the Paducah Innovation Hub. Ten students became Certified Phlebotomy Technicians and 13 became Certified Patient Care Technicians. They took national exams to receive these certifications. To honor their hard work, they were awarded pins by their instructors and celebrated with family and loved ones in attendance.

Paducah Public Schools will dismiss early today due to inclement weather. Dismissal Schedule: PTHS, Choices and Paducah Middle: 11:30 a.m. Clark and Morgan: 12:15 p.m. McNabb and Head Start: 1:00 p.m. There will be no afternoon Head Start. All after school activities are canceled. This will insure that all our students and staff are safely home by 2:00 p.m.
Today we celebrate our Nutrition Services staff, who strive each day to provide our students and staff with healthy, tasty, meals and snacks. Thank you for all the ways you take care of us!
