Looking for a summer soccer tune-up? Tilghman Soccer 2026 Youth Camp will be June 17-19 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jetton Soccer Fields. School's out, but we won't forget about our students! Did you know Paducah Public Schools provide free breakfast and lunch for anyone 0-18 years of age in June and July? Join us for the Summer Feeding Kick-Off Celebration Thursday, June 4, 11-1 pm. The event is at Paducah Middle School.

Your child will see familiar faces in the dunking booth, explore the Touch-a-Trucks and leave with freebies! Students 0-18 will get a hot chicken nugget meal, plus four days of breakfast and lunch. We'll unveil the full summer feeding schedule and mobile locations, too!

Head Start Preschool screening for the 2026-27 school year will be offered on two dates: Thursday, April 30 from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. and Friday, May 1 from 8:15 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call 270-444-5780. We are proud to announce that Morgan Elementary’s music teacher, Ms. Liberty Guyette, has been named the KMEA Elementary Music Teacher of the Year! Ms. Guyette is a first year teacher and a Tilghman alumnus, which makes her honor especially noteworthy.

This honor is well deserved. In her first year of teaching, Ms. Liberty has done an incredible job engaging students and helping them fall in love with music. Her classes are active and meaningful, with students learning music theory, playing instruments, and singing.

She orchestrated a wonderful K–3 Christmas program and led students 4/5 students in "Willy Wonka Kids", in partnership with Market House Theater. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure all students can participate, even adapting instruments to meet their needs.

Ms. Liberty’s passion for music and dedication to her students shine through in everything she does. She has been an amazing addition to Morgan Elementary, and it’s no surprise that KMEA recognized her as Elementary Music Teacher of the Year.

It was a wonderful night to celebrate the work of our faculty and staff at the 9th Annual Regional Educators Awards and Scholarship Program at West Kentucky Community and Technical College last night! With 31 "Top 20" nominees, four finalists, and two winners, Paducah Public Schools were well represented on the stage. It was also gratifying to see Doris Benberry, who taught for 37 years for Paducah Schools, receive a President's Award!
