Paducah Middle Art teacher Dr. Anthony Woodruff visited our regular meeting of the Paducah Board of Education to share the good news that three Paducah Middle students recently received art awards.

At the Kentucky Art Education Association (KyAEA) 2026 All-State Art Show, Chloe Hill (8) won 2nd place and Lena Hundhammer (7) won Best of Show!

Additionally, Lily Jones (7) won the Middle School Division of the Kentucky Education Association's "Difference Makers" contest. Students were asked to create a portrait of a teacher that has made a difference this year, and Lily chose Mr. Howard.

Dr. Woodruff and his students presented portraits of our board members that were created by Dr. Woodruff's art students. Thank you for your creative gifts!
