Paducah Tilghman High School senior Keaton Thompson has been awarded the Kentucky Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (KSDAR) District 1 Good Citizen Award and Scholarship. He was selected from among eight Good Citizen chapters in the district competition and advanced to the state level competition.

The Kentucky Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is a women's service organization committed to promoting education, historic preservation, and patriotism. The Good Citizens Award and Scholarship Contest, created in 1934, is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. This award recognizes and rewards high school seniors who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. These students are selected because they demonstrate these qualities to an outstanding degree. Scholarships are awarded to winners at the chapter, state, division, and national levels.

PTHS Cheerleading tryouts have been moved to Tuesday, April 14, after Spring Break. Mandatory clinic days will be March 31, April 1, and April 2 from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. in the main gym.

Five Paducah Tilghman wrestlers- Ben Hall (12) , Jaylin Bellamy (10), Jordynn Davis (10), Josh Waufle (9), and Rage Henderson (9)- competed in the NHSCA Wrestling Nationals in Virginia Beach, Virgina March 27-29.

Rage Henderson became PT’s first ever national champion in wrestling by winning the 220 pound weight class in the freshman division with a perfect 5-0 record.

"Rage didn’t just win, he was dominant, as he did not allow a single point to be scored against him," said PTHS Wrestling head coach Seth Livingston.
