Paducah Public Schools is excited to invite all families in the community to join us as Paducah Public School staff for an afternoon of free food, games, and fun at Anderson Court! This event is a special opportunity for our staff to meet, greet, and engage with families as we continue building positive relationships between students, staff, and families.

The PTHS boys soccer vs. McCracken County games that were scheduled for today (Thursday, August 21) have been postponed to a later date TBD.

It is with great excitement that we announce the 2025–2026 Junior Board members for Paducah Public Schools!

Congratulations to Angelique Hernandez and Holt Shively, who have been elected by the student body at Paducah Tilghman High School. Students in grades 9 through 11 participated in the electoral process, making their voices heard in selecting their representatives. Angelique and Holt began their tenure on the board at the August 18 meeting

We look forward to Angelique and Holt representing the student body with dedication, leadership, and pride. Congratulations once again!

The boys JV soccer game that was scheduled for tonight has been canceled due to the high heat index. The boys varsity game scheduled for tonight will be played at 6:30 PM.

PT Football Season Ticket pick up will be August 18-21st in the PT Front Office, from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

The annual Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities is in full swing! From June 1 through August 31 you can donate to our Foundation and know that every dollar directly impacts our students. You can designate your donation to any of our schools, programs, and scholarships in the district via our Foundation. In its 24th year, the Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities has been instrumental in helping build nonprofit endowment funds. Because of Mr. Paxton's vision and his family's continued commitment, the Community Foundation will match donations raised by each organization up to $10,000. These matching funds support the classes and after school programs at the Paducah Innovation Hub Makerspace, which remain free to all district students. PTHS Boys and Girls soccer begin their 2025 seasons tonight! PTHS Boys soccer plays Hopkins County at Jetton Field tonight at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available on GoFan. PTHS Girls Soccer takes the pitch at Murray High School tonight also at 5:30 p.m. Go Big Blue!

Join us at McRight Field this Friday, August 15 at 7:00 p.m. as PTHS and Owensboro Catholic football scrimmage to prepare for the upcoming season. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased with Cash or Venmo.

PT junior McCall Moore won the 2A Girls Golf Sectional individual title on August 6 and will compete at the 2A Golf State Championship. Congratulations, McCall!
