PRIDE Pass winners are selected from weekly drawings based on teacher nominations. PRIDE Pass students are nominated for demonstrating Purpose, Responsibility, Integrity, Determination, or Excellence.

The Paducah Innovation Hub was the local site for the 2022 US Chess Membership Tournament on September 24. Several teams were represented from the region, including a pair of players from Iuka, MS. PTHS placed 3rd overall. Players that entered this tournament will have their national memberships for the year which will allow them to play in all seasonal events as well as any rated events within the United States. Ms. Tucker represented Paducah Middle School extremely well with her sportsmanship and chess ability. Every Paducah player earned at least 1/2 a point! Ms. Polsgrove's 4th hour Phlebotomy Class at the Paducah Innovation Hub is practicing venipunctures using a phlebotomy practice arm!

Paducah Innovation Hub Auto Body students must pass a respiratory fit test before entering the paint booth in Auto Body class. Makerspace Director Tim Franklin, who is OSHA certified to provide the testing, leads the class in tests to check the seals on their respirators.

The homecoming ceremony will be at half-time of the PTHS vs. Henderson County football game on September 23.

Paducah Tilghman students joined other high schools from the region on September 21 to learn more about careers in the marine industry at a "Who Works the Rivers?" program. The event, hosted by Riverworks Discovery, touches on careers in Maritime Commerce, Culture, and Conservation.
