We had the special opportunity to celebrate the work of the Paducah Public Schools Foundation at the 2025 Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities Celebration. The Foundation raised $212,156.00 between June 1 and August 31 and received a $10,000 match from the Community Foundation of West Kentucky. Our Foundation has ‘won’ the Challenge (with most funds raised) the last nine years.

Work was done during summer break on our faculty and staff parking lot at Morgan Elementary to correct a drainage problem. We appreciate our contractors for their work on installing the drainage system and repaving the parking lot!

Our new district-wide NEXT Modular camera system has been recognized by Campus Security Today for its innovative design and performance. This award is a significant acknowledgment, honoring the achievements of security industry manufacturers whose products are instrumental in improving campus security.

Clark Elementary’s PTO received a grant and support from several community members to create two amazing playgrounds for our students. The 3rd-5th grade playground is complete; the K-2nd grade playground construction will start in late September and should be ready for children in October.
