We want to let you know that start and end times for some of our schools will change in the 2023-24 school year. We believe these changes will contribute to the well-being of our students and help our bus routes move more efficiently.
The longer school day at Paducah Middle School will allow us to offer seven academic periods instead of six. This will help prepare our students for high school. It will also allow additional elective opportunities so students who want to take band, choir and orchestra will be able to take all three classes.
We understand that even small changes to our school schedules deeply impact our community and particularly our families who are juggling multiple work, school and family members’ schedules. We’re grateful for your patience as we implement these schedule changes.
Look for more details from your school principal before school starts. We look forward to seeing you August 9!

Congratulations to Morgan’s SRO, Scotty Davis for winning Regional School Resource Officer of Year. He was presented with his award by the Kentucky Association of School Resource Officers at a special ceremony in Frankfort on June 21. They could not have picked a more deserving person. The PTHS Tornado Boys Basketball Team will host their annual summer basketball camp from Tuesday, May 30th through Thursday, June 01. The camp is for any boy grades 2nd - 7th.The camp will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 10:00 a.m. for 2 - 4. The camp will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m. for grades 5 - 7. The cost for camp this year is $25. Registration will be at the door on May 30.

The Lady Tornado Basketball Team will host their annual summer basketball camp from Tuesday, May 30th through Thursday, June 01. The camp is for any girl grades K-8th.The camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. The cost for camp this year is $30. Morgan Elementary's 5th Grade promotion ceremony will be Tuesday, May 23, 9:30 a.m. at the Noble Park Amphitheater.
Paducah Head Start Parents-
All preschool classes will resume as normal tomorrow (Monday, May 8). All maintenance issues have been resolved.

PT Volleyball will host a one-day volleyball camp for Morgan Elementary on Wednesday, May 3. Campers will be introduced to the sport and learn basic skills. The camps will be held at the PTHS gym from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Fee is $10 payable at the door. See the flyer for more info!

PTHS SEAC (Student Equity Advisory Council) will conduct their final forum of the year on Thursday, May 11, 5:00 PM, at Seaman's Church Institute. The forum is open to the community. The theme of the forum is “Unity in the Community.” All who plan to attend should click on the QR code to register.
