Congratulations to our incredibly talented art students on their outstanding achievements at the 2025 KyAEA All-State Purchase/Pennyrile Regional High School Art Exhibition! This year saw a record-breaking 458 entries.
Out of those 458 entries, Tilghman High School had 15 works accepted into the show – and six of our students received awards for their exceptional artwork.

9th Street Church of Christ will host their annual ACT prep class for students in grades 8-12 on Saturday April 26 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The instructor is Mrs. Kelly Walden, co-owner and lead teacher for ACT Prep. We want to give a special thanks for the envelopes that were beautifully decorated by our talented elementary school students (so adorable!), to the EPIC Group, EXP Realty for the candy and to the parents who organized this heartwarming event - you've created a memory that our seniors will cherish forever! 🙌

Congratulation to PT senior Briana Sims! Briana won a design competition sponsored by Rhodes Convenience Stores. Briana's winning design will be used for the wallpaper design at the new Rhodes Convenience Store that will be opening on Clarks River Road on March 11. Representatives from Rhodes dropped by last Friday and hosted a pizza party for Briana's art class, and presented her with a gift in honor of her winning design.

Reminder: No School this Friday, February 14. It will a professional development day for our staff. Happy Valentine's Day!

The PTHS Speech Team competed at Regional Tournament at Graves County High School with six competitors receiving top honors in four different categories. All students who competed qualified to compete at the State Speech competition in March. Only the top competitor and runner -up are recognized at the Regional competition.
