Paducah Tilghman Track & Field posted some strong finishes at the 2A Track & Field State Championships held at the University of Kentucky on May 31. For the Boys team, Kylen Ware was 6th in the 200 meter dash and 3rd in the 400 meter dash. Liam Black finished 7th in the 1500 meter run. Relay teams were 4th in the 4 X 100, 4th in the 4 X 200, and 8th in the 4 X 400. Nicholas Fox was 6th in the Shot Put. The Boys team finished 7th overall in the meet.
For the Girls team, Jasline English was 4th in the 100 meter dash. The 4 X 100 Girls relay team finished 4th. The Girls team was 17th overall.

Paducah Innovation Hub principal Steve Ybarzabal presented the creative strategies being used at the Paducah Innovation Hub at "Pathways to Progress: Workforce Strategies for Kentucky's Emerging Adults". The PTHS Class of '24 is invited to Project Graduation Friday, May 17 at the Salvation Army Gym on 2990 Trimble Street. Doors open at 10:00 p.m. and lock at 11:30 p.m. You must sign contract to attend. Forms are available in the Guidance Office.
PTHS will accept nominations for parent members of the SBDM Council via email Monday, 5/13 - Thursday, 5/16. The election will be held in the PTHS lobby from 8:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 5/21.
