We were happy to have the PTHS Class of '64 visit today, and we're looking forward to visits from the PTHS Class of '98 and the PTHS Class of '71. We hope you all enjoy PTHS Homecoming and BBQ on the River!


McCall Moore finished 11th at the Region 1 Tournament and qualified for the first round of the State Tournament, which will be played next Monday in Calvert City. McCall is only a freshman but this is her 2nd year in a row to make it out of the Region 1 tournament. Congratulations!

PT's Triple Event- Back to School Night, Jazz on the Lawn, & College Expo- were a great occasion to welcome the new school year and get some solid info to help our students succeed. From A Different Sound's performance to Big Ed's Catering to all the Admissions reps and alumni to manned the tables at the Expo, thank you!





Paducah Tilghman junior Bryleigh Heal has been selected to serve as Student Board Representative with the Paducah Board of Education for the 23-24 school year.
As student board representative, Bryleigh will serve as student advisor to the Paducah Board of Education and provide input from a student’s perspective on all board-related agenda and board meeting topics.


The Paducah Tilghman boys golf team competed in the Region 1 tournament which was held Monday at Drake Creek. The team finished fourth out of 16 teams in the tournament, with junior Peyton Toon and 8th grader Evan Hack qualifying to compete as individuals. Evan Hack led the team with the low score by shooting 78. Peyton Toon shot 81 and qualified by winning a playoff. The semi-state round of the State Tournament will be next Tuesday to see who advances to the final in Bowling Green.

The PTHS Back-to-School Night on Tuesday, September 19 will feature the following: Back-to-School Open House inside Paducah Tilghman High School. Jazz on the Lawn which will provide free food and entertainment on the lawn. Regional College Expo in the gym so families can start planning for the future. All of these events will run from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. All events are free and open to the public. NOTE: We ask that any K-8 students that come be accompanied by an adult at all times.




Students and parents from across the region are invited to the West Kentucky Regional College Expo at Dinning Gymnasium on the campus of Paducah Tilghman Tuesday, September 19 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Dozens of colleges and universities will be on hand to talk with students about the college application process.


Volunteers from Paducah Tilghman Wrestling were honored to be a part of The Big Brown Truck Pull for Special Olympics on September 16. Teams of 15 people pulled a loaded UPS 18-wheeler across 12 feet at Heartland Church in Paducah to raise money in support of Special Olympics.


Paducah Tilghman NJROTC cadets stood watch at POW-MIA tables at PTHS and the Hub in honor of National POW-MIA Recognition Day.
Many Americans across the United States pause to remember the sacrifices and service of those who were prisoners of war (POW), as well as those who are missing in action (MIA), and their families on POW-MIA Recognition Day. All military installations fly the National League of Families’ POW/MIA flag, which symbolizes the nation’s remembrance of those who were imprisoned while serving in conflicts and those who remain missing.
