Come join Clark Elementary School at our inaugural "Fight the Fight" 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run. Each participant will receive a long sleeve dry-fit shirt if registered by 10/22/23. All youth participants participating in the 1 mile run will receive a finishers medal. This race will be an opportunity to bring our school and community together for a common cause as we raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Paducah Tilghman Boys Cross Country won the team trophy at the Eagle Classic 2023 held at Graves County High School on October 14. The team averaged 17:34.93 over the 5K course.
The Boys team was led by senior Liam Black, who finished in 16:25.52, a personal record. Senior Corban Willams recorded at top-ten finish at 8th with a time of 17:30.21. Scoring was rounded out by a trio of runners: Sophomore Aiden Forthman was 12th, freshman Jude Crawford was 13th, and 8th grader Charlie Wolfrom was 15th. Eighth grader Kolton Houser finished in the top 20 at 19th. Sophomore Jude Williams finished in the top half of the field at 43rd.
Tornado Cross Country will compete next at the Regional Cross Country championship on October 21 at Yellow Creek Park in Owensboro.

Picture Retake Day is scheduled for Thursday November 9th for ALL GRADES, even Seniors.
The KHSAA will honor the golden anniversary of Tilghman’s 1973 2A state championship team. Paducah Tilghman (now a Class 4A competitor) will be recognized during halftime of the 4A state final game on December 1 with an 8 pm kickoff at Kroger Field on UK Campus in Lexington.
KHSAA invites team members (athletes, coaches, statisticians) to attend this year's championship. They will provide each with two digital complimentary tickets (one for the honoree member and one for their guest).
During the ceremony, team members will receive a commemorative medallion to recognize this accomplishment. RSVP required by Nov. 16 to jay.burgett@paducah.kyschools.us or 270-444-5650.
