The annual Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities is in full swing!
From June 1 through August 31 you can donate to our Foundation and know that every dollar directly impacts our students. You can designate your donation to any of our schools, programs, and scholarships in the district via our Foundation.
In its 24th year, the Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities has been instrumental in helping build nonprofit endowment funds. Because of Mr. Paxton's vision and his family's continued commitment, the Community Foundation will match donations raised by each organization up to $10,000. These matching funds support the classes and after school programs at the Paducah Innovation Hub Makerspace, which remain free to all district students.
Go to https://cfwestky.org/challenge to donate online, or mail your check directly to PPS Foundation, P O Box 2550, Paducah KY 42002-2550. We appreciate your continued support!

Paducah Middle School is thrilled to announce the incredible success of our students in the recent honor choir selections. These talented young musicians have demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill throughout a demanding audition process.
A massive congratulations to Thomas Dorsey, Celia Veal, and Eliza Veal for their selection to the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Honor Choir! Their upcoming performance in Dallas at the 2025 ACDA National Conference is a remarkable achievement, placing them among the top young singers in the country.
We also celebrate the outstanding accomplishment of Duece Benberry, Thomas Dorsey, Lenny Page, Harrison Romain, Celia Veal, and Eliza Veal, who represented Paducah Middle with distinction in the KMEA All-State Junior High Choir earlier this year. Their hard work at the district level and beyond has truly paid off.
And a special cheer for our phenomenal sixth graders, Ava Coffey, Peyton Crockett, Hansen Okerson, Eloise Paschall, and Carter Rains, for their beautiful contribution to the KMEA All-State Children's Choir!
