Paducah Middle 7th Grade Football will play Northern Pulaski for the 2022 KYMSFA state championship on Saturday, November 12 at 2:30 p.m. EST. The game will be at Great Crossing High School in Georgetown, KY. All ticket sales will be cash at the gate. Good luck Paducah Middle 7th, and Go Big Blue!
All Paducah Public Schools and Paducah Head Start Preschool will be closed for students Monday, November 7, due to a high rate of influenza cases among students and staff. There will be no athletic events or extracurricular activities on Monday, November 7.
Staff will report to their buildings on Monday, November 7 for professional development.
There will be no school on Tuesday, November 8, in observance of Election Day. Classes will resume on Wednesday, November 9.

There have been some changes to the schedule of Paducah Middle School football games for Saturday, October 29 at McRight Field. The Paducah Middle 7th grade is canceled due to a forfeit by Campbellsville.

11:00 a.m. - No Game.
1:00 p.m. - Paducah Middle 6th grade football will play McCracken County in the KYMSFA Regional Championship game.
3:00 p.m. - Paducah Middle 8th grade football will play TK Stone in the KYMSFA Regional Championship game for District 2.
5:00 p.m. - Trigg County will play Campbellsville in the 8th Grade KYMSFA Regional Championship for District 3.

At the Region 1 Cross Country meet held on October 22, PTHS senior Alicia Durfee qualified for the state Cross Country meet as an individual, and the PTHS boys team qualified as a team. Congratulations and best wishes at the state meet!

Paducah Middle 7th Grade Football will play Bowling Green Middle School at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, October 22 in Round 2 of the playoffs. The game will be at Bowling Green High School. Go Big Blue!
Paducah Middle 8th grade football will host a playoff game vs. James Madison on Thursday, October 20 at 6:00 PM at McRight Field. Tickets will be cash sales $6 for adults, $3 for students. No passes are accepted except KHSCA Passes card holder only due to playoff receipts having to be split. Go Big Blue!

The Paducah Innovation Hub was the local site for the 2022 US Chess Membership Tournament on September 24. Several teams were represented from the region, including a pair of players from Iuka, MS.
PTHS placed 3rd overall. Players that entered this tournament will have their national memberships for the year which will allow them to play in all seasonal events as well as any rated events within the United States. Ms. Tucker represented Paducah Middle School extremely well with her sportsmanship and chess ability.
Every Paducah player earned at least 1/2 a point!
