The boys JV soccer game that was scheduled for tonight has been canceled due to the high heat index. The boys varsity game scheduled for tonight will be played at 6:30 PM.

The annual Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities is in full swing! From June 1 through August 31 you can donate to our Foundation and know that every dollar directly impacts our students. You can designate your donation to any of our schools, programs, and scholarships in the district via our Foundation. In its 24th year, the Fred Paxton Challenge for Charities has been instrumental in helping build nonprofit endowment funds. Because of Mr. Paxton's vision and his family's continued commitment, the Community Foundation will match donations raised by each organization up to $10,000. These matching funds support the classes and after school programs at the Paducah Innovation Hub Makerspace, which remain free to all district students. PTHS Boys and Girls soccer begin their 2025 seasons tonight! PTHS Boys soccer plays Hopkins County at Jetton Field tonight at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available on GoFan. PTHS Girls Soccer takes the pitch at Murray High School tonight also at 5:30 p.m. Go Big Blue!

Join us at McRight Field this Friday, August 15 at 7:00 p.m. as PTHS and Owensboro Catholic football scrimmage to prepare for the upcoming season. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased with Cash or Venmo.

PT junior McCall Moore won the 2A Girls Golf Sectional individual title on August 6 and will compete at the 2A Golf State Championship. Congratulations, McCall!

If you are a senior taking dual credit or participating in co-op for the 25-26 school year, note these mandatory meetings:

All students planning on taking a dual credit class this year must attend a mandatory informational meeting on Wednesday, July 23rd, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. The meeting will be held in Mr. Morse's classroom (#111). Parents are not required to attend but are welcome.

Students in grades 7–12 who are interested in joining the Paducah Tilghman High School Boys or Girls Golf Teams — along with Paducah Middle School students in grades 5–8 who want to participate — are encouraged to attend a Parent/Player Meeting on Thursday, July 10 at 5:30 PM at Paxton Park Golf Course.

Tornado Takeout summer meals are available beginning Monday, June 2! Summer meals are available for all children from birth to 18 years old, no matter what school district you attend. Meals will be available Monday - Friday from June 2 to August 1 . Hot lunch meals will be available daily with a breakfast given for the next day. On Friday children will get a breakfast & lunch for Saturday and Sunday and breakfast for Monday. Tornado Takeout will be closed on June 19 and July 4.
