Destruction of Student Records is scheduled to take place on October 15, 2025. Records include but are not limited to Standardized Test Reports and assessment data, enrollment records and supporting documentation (e.g. health reports, copies of birth certificates), elementary grade reports, and transfer documents.
These student records are inclusive of the cohort graduating class of 2021 and students who were enrolled during the 2020-2021 school year at Paducah Tilghman High School but transferred out during the year. Former students may request, in writing, any and all records included in their cumulative file. Parents of students may NOT request copies of these records as rights to them transferred to the student at the age of majority (18 years of age).
Former students wishing to inspect their records may do so by scheduling an appointment with the District Records Custodian at 270-444-5600. Students may also obtain their records by submitting a written request specifying any or all of their records. Any records not scheduled to be reviewed or requested by end of business on October 14th, 2025 will be marked for destruction.
Please contact 270-444-5600 for any questions.
Note: Transcripts are NOT included in these records as these are permanently retained. Students wishing to obtain copies of transcripts (official or unofficial) can do so through Parchment at https://www.parchment.com/students/order-status/
