Do you have kids that need sports physicals for the upcoming school year?
In preparation for the 2024-25 school year, Baptist Health Urgent Cares and many Baptist Health Medical Group Primary Care practices are offering sports physicals for your child for $35. This offer is valid May 1 to August 31. Physicals will be billed to insurance.
Softball Tryouts Paducah Middle will be Monday, July 15th, 6:00 p.m. at Sheppard Field, which is near Brooks Stadium.
Students in grades 5-8 are invited to try out. All players must have a current physical.
Players must bring a glove, their own helmet and wear pants appropriate for softball.
Baseball Tryouts for Paducah Middle School will be Thursday, July 18 at 6:00 PM at the Noble Park baseball field beside Park Avenue. Students in grades 6-8 may try out. Bring a bat, glove, helmet, baseball pants, and cleats. After the tryout practices will be from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM starting on Monday, July 22.

Baptist Health is having a sports physical clinic for any students who will attend Paducah Public Schools . Physicals will be done at Paducah Middle School nurse office Friday, July 19 from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Parents can bring their insurance card and it will be covered 99% of the time.

The 17th Annual Paducah Public Schools Foundation Golf Scramble will be held on Friday, August 2, at Paxton Park. Registration is at 8:00 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. The entry fee per team is $400, or $100 for a single player. Prizes will be awarded and lunch is included. Businesses are invited to become a sponsor. We were excited to host a talented group of rising 9th graders at the Paducah Innovation Hub for the first-ever CTE (Career & Technical Education) Summer Academy. Attending students had an opportunity to discover Paducah Area Technical Center pathways in Carpentry, Welding, and Health Occupations. Do you know a rising 9th grader who might be interested in exploring CTE (Career & Technical Education) pathways in Auto Tech, Carpentry, Health Science, or Welding?
The Paducah Innovation Hub will offer a three-day CTE Summer Academy to rising 9th graders.
The CTE Summer Academy will be held June 25-27 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon each day.
The Summer Academy is free, but registration is required. To register, use the QR code on the attached graphic.
